With great pride, we invite you to the 12th Open Belgium, including the I-Karate Global Championship. On March 21, 2026, we will transform Pelt (Belgium) into the heart of inclusive karate. At I-Karate, we believe that karate is for everyone. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced karateka with a disability, our philosophy is simple: "Participation is winning."
Why you shouldn't miss this:
•Everyone is a Champion: We value every participant's effort. No one goes home empty- handed; every participant receives a unique trophy as a token of appreciation.
•Over 40 Categories: There is a place for everyone, from individual kata and weapon kata to pads kumite and team forms.
•Premiere: Family Pairs: A brand-new initiative! Perform a kata on the mat together with your parent, grandparent, or sibling. A unique opportunity to shine together.
•Demo Kata Category: Perfect for newcomers. Demonstrate your kata, receive feedback from the jury, and receive a gold medal for your courage.
•International Character: We welcome participants from various countries. While it is an international field, we also celebrate local talent: the highest-ranked Belgian participant in each category will receive the title of Belgian Champion (gold medal).
